Cross-media - from Storytelling to Distribution
Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts recognizes the quickly changing conditions for the film and other professionals educated at the school. This course should provide those working in the industry with the tools to adapt to this, to find new audiences and tell stories using new platforms.

Cross-Media – From Storytelling to Distribution is about building bridges between related industries and finding new collaborative partners. We offer a long list of inspiring lectures, live, streamed and to be downloaded, as well as mentorship by industry professionals to guide process of developing the project that is the basis for examination.
The course is held as a full time distance education with weekly online sessions and includes three physical meetings at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts at start, mid- and end of term.
Note! All students must have access to a reliable broadband Internet connection.
The course will be held in English.

- New rules for storytelling, how to expand your story from one single media to multiple platforms
- Case-studies by some of the worlds leading experts in Cross-Media
- New ways to reach and interact with an audience
- Financing, marketing and distribution of Cross-Media projects
- Legal and copyright issues
- Process management, how to organize and lead a Cross-Media project
- Pitching and project presentation
- Communication, internal and external
Aim of the course
The course is aimed at professionals with experience from film in particular but also game development and or development of games products and services for Internet and mobile, communication, PR and new media.
Learn to use new tools for storytelling and for managing your project online. Meet people from related industries and get inspired by some of the worlds leading Cross-Media developers. This course will help you navigate in the emerging Cross-Media industry and find the right balance for interactivity and engagement with your audience.
Most of the textbooks and instructional material will be available online by including lectures, videos and podcasts, TED lectures, articles, reports (such as Power to the Pixel Think Tank Report).
