What does the principle of public access to official records mean? And what happens to the personal information you send to us in your application? Here are som answers.

The principle of public access to official records

Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts (SADA) is a university and therefore also and an authority. As for all other authorities the principle of public access to official records applies.

The principle of public access to official records is a basic principle in Swedish administration of justice and public administration. According to this principle, documents that concern the workings of the public authorities are public, with a few exceptions. Private details in these documents can, however, be classified as secret. This means that SADA will save all the information you leave in your application according to certain regulations (SFS 1993:1153).
